문화적 위장(Camouflage)을 탐구하는 아티스트 MW의 팝업 이벤트 <THE MW INCIDENT>가 서울 충무로 POHS-TIHS에서 2월 13일(금)부터 14일(토)까지 이틀간 열립니다.

이번 팝업에서는 MW의 UFO 사건 아카이브가 담긴 ‘One-of-a-Kind’ 29점의 의류와 실크스크린 포스터, 그리고 이번 이벤트를 위해 제작된 새로운 Zine이 한정 수량 판매됩니다.

<THE MW INCIDENT>는 위장(Camouflage)크림을 얼굴에 바른 우리 마음속 ’이방인’과, 불시착한 ‘외계인(Alien)’의 조우에서 시작되었습니다.

갈곳을 잃은 외계인 납치 증언과 UFO 목격담, 이 조각난 기억의 아카이브 틈새에서 새어나오는 현실 그 이상의 무언가를 발견해 보세요.

팝업 기간 동안 현장의 음악은 @stretchpromo의 @maalib이 특별히 제작하였습니다.

MW, an artist exploring the concept of ‘Cultural Camouflage,’ presents the pop-up event <THE MW INCIDENT> at POHS-TIHS in Chungmu-ro, Seoul, for two days from Feb 13th (Fri) to 14th (Sat).

The event features 29 one-of-a-kind garments infused with MW’s archive of UFO incidents, silkscreen posters, and a new Zine produced exclusively for this event (limited quantity).

<THE MW INCIDENT> begins with the encounter between the crash-landed ‘Alien’ and the ‘Outsider’ within us all—who wears camouflage paint on their many faces.

Through an archive of adrift abduction testimonies and fragmented memories of UFO sightings, we invite you to discover something more than the reality seeping through the cracks.

The on-site music for the event was specially produced by @maalib of @stretchpromo.
